Value of Music in Accentuating facilitation skills is a Train the Trainer’s course which focuses on making the trainer effective during his delivery. This course is different in terms of delivery as it focus on the inner self of a trainer, identifies the potential to use all the efforts that are required to make a program successful. An unconventional facilitation course where music is the tool and methodologies pertaining to music that includes rhythm are give prime importance. Apart from music, other factors are also considered like Language, Illumination, Smell and colour which again makes this course distinct in terms of understanding and modifying the atmosphere of delivery.
This course will help a trainer to understand audience in a better way, relating to the audience, giving a personal touch, where after every explanation there is an activity that will further emphasis on practice of the trainer. This program is made is such a simple way that one need not have to be proficient in music. Music is used as a learning tool than a prerequisite. The basic understanding of octaves: lower, middle and higher, its understanding, range and impact on a person’s mind. Relating the octaves with our own human voice giving an insight into the amount of sound and the octave we should use while delivering and its positive impact.
The program starts with ‘Aum’ which is the universal. The trainer can understand how the effects of ‘Aum’ on human mind and body through the three different sound vibrations make difference, brings peace and relaxes the mind. Also can understand the alternatives of ‘Aum’ i.e Ameen / Alif Laam Meem and Amen are similar to it and have equal soothing effect on mind and body.
Difference of saying ‘Aum’ with open and closed eyes. Knowing the fact through practice that open eyes wander and closed eyes are more in sync with the word ‘Aum’.
Explaining the harmonium with three octaves in simple and detailed way through actual rendition. Showing the limit of human voice and ways of improving higher and lower octaves. Understanding the need to use which octave at what time of the day depending on the position of sun.
Value of Music in Accentuating Facilitation Skills will facilitate the trainer to understand the psyche of audience through different techniques and since its a TTT for trainers only, the learning ability and overall understanding of the concept, and what is in it for me of the audience will create curiosity to further understand and implement it.
