Automobile Design Series in Maya (Module #3) – Unwrap, Texturing and Finishing:
One of the automobile designing projects on Maya this course will help you learn right from how to set up the blueprint of a car till texturing and final rendering the final output. Autodesk Maya is the industry standard for 3D animation software. Video professionals as well as graphic experts can create a spell of their own using Maya for animated television programs, films, video games and special visual effect as well as 3D animations. Seven years after it was originally released by Alias Wavefront in 1998, Autdoesk Inc. acquired Maya and rechristened it.
Through this course you will learn about unwrapping UV of the bonnet, unwrapping UV of the front windshield, unwrapping UV of the roof and rear windshield, unwrapping UV of the car trunk, unwrapping UV of the rear bumper, unwrapping UV of tail light and spoiler, unwrapping UV of back body, door, windows, front body and front bumper, merging the roof with front body and back body, creating proper edge loops, merging the car trunk with tail light, creating proper edge loops for that section, creating proper edge loops for the door and the bonnet, re-adjusting the UVs of the trunk and tail light, applying automatic UV to combined and sewing the UVs, creating UV snapshot, applying texture to the bonnet and bumper, applying texture to the main body and door, applying texture to the windshield glass and windows, applying texture to the front net of car and trunk, applying texture to the tyres, applying final textures and conclusion.
