Course Overview
Employee Compensation:
The course gives a detailed overview on accounting for employee compensation. It explains as to how an entity accounts for the salaries and wages it pays out to the employees and gives you an in depth overview of how organizations are supposed to recognize them correctly in their financial statements.
We look at the employee compensation components, their accounting, next we understand how IFRS 2 has bought in a change in accounting for these components, finally we solve examples particularly w.r.t the companies that are listed on stock exchange and how they provide information on employee compensation.
This training is in line with the IFRS standards. IFRS refers to the International Financial Reporting Standards, which are designed as a common global language for business to ensure that accounts are both understandable and comparable on a global basis with a set of uniformity in them.
