General Insurance Master Series (Module #3) – File & Use Regulations:
General Insurance Underwriting aims at familiarizing with the concepts of principles, practices & procedures adopted by insurers in underwriting all classes of non-life insurance. This course will train learners of General insurance with underwriting skills like risk assessment in general insurance products.
Through this course you will be learning about files & use of regulations & procedures, files & use with applications and protection of policyholder’s interest. You will be learning in this about goals of regulatory supervision of insurance business, duties, powers and functions of IRDAI, Guidelines on file and use requirements for general insurance products, filing of insurance products, IRDA’s right to question terms and issue directions and forms of filing (A to D), board approval of underwriting policy, Responsibility of compliance, and many more other concepts.
