Course Overview
This comprehensive course is all about IP Addressing and Subnetting. Through this course we are going to learn about why we use TCP-IP stack and how that is differ from OSI, details about application transport and network layer and operating protocol , network interface layer function for transmission, IP address and its classification class A,B,C,D,E, network bits and host bits list of valid network numbers, no of hosts, broadcast address, private address, reserved address.
The next module will deal with subnetting wherein we will understand the need of subnetting with example and prefix definition, VlSM technic which is used for the different subnets while connecting , VLSM Design with example of one company with five subnets, finding direct broadcast address and its valid host for the network. At the end of the training we will discuss a few examples and summarize the all the contents and some questions.
This course is for individuals who desire to develop a solid understanding of all aspects of IP technology. It will be beneficial for network managers, technicians, designers and consultants who are involved in supporting, managing, designing or implementing IP networks. A general understanding of data communication principles is recommended.
