Lightworks: Professional Editor – Basic Training:
This course is for students and film making professionals who wants to learn the software that is close at heart of many film editors in hollywood. After learning the free edition of the software you can edit like a pro with lightworks, a software with which films like Departed, Pulp Fiction, Braveheart, Aviator has been edited with.
Lightworks is a Non Linear Editor from the company Edit Share which works on Windows, Linux and Mac platforms. With Lightworks you can do professional grade digital video and film editing for all kind of professional work. Other than doing basic editing you can also incorporate professional level Transitions and Video Effects into your workflow using Lightworks’ famous node based visual effects module and numerous presets. Apart from digital Video and Film editing, you can also do Offline Multicam Editing with Lightworks.
In this course we have covered the basics of editing with Lightworks where you get a detailed look at the workings of the interface and learn how to do Basic Edits and apply Transitions and do Multicam edits. An advanced version of the tutorial is also available where you will be learning about how to do more advanced work like Keyframe Animation, Working with the Node Based Effects Module and Colouring and Audio Mixing.
