Course Overview
Rotoscopying in Fusion:
This course will help you to learn about the fundamentals of basic and advanced rotoscoping using Fusion, this course will also demonstrate the user interface of Fusion along with features & applications.
This course will also help you to learn about how to use polylines and effects masks along with rotoscopy in detail.
Below are the details about all that we are going to understand here.
Polylines and effects masks- In this section you would be understanding Polyline Toolbars, ellipse, and rectangle masks, B-Spline Masks, selecting and adjusting the polyline, moving polyline points, smoothing a polyline segment, deleting selected points, bezier handles, edit points and reduce points.
Rotoscopy- Here we shall see analyzing and planning the live action shot, drawing the basic shapes, understanding the industry pipeline for VFX roto, building the workflow, learning rotoscopying principles, rotoscopying elements from live action footage, understanding splines and spline editor, working with alpha channel and creating matte.
Advanced Rotoscopy- In the advanced class we would see rotoscopying complicated elements / shapes, tracking shot for rotoscopy, rotoscopying the tracked shot, connecting the tracking node with polygon mask, understanding the difference between VFX and stereo roto, compositing the extracted element with different BG and performing basic CC.
