The DBA is the main role to improve the functioning of the database in the database management system; they perform some specific responsibilities, which are given below:
- When the organization is new, then the setup of the database, hardware, software, to set up the IT infrastructure, etc., is going to be done by the database administrator.

To become a data administrator in DBMS, we need to have some skills which are necessary.
- The DBA has to work for a limited time as there are deadlines with very good problem-solving and systematic skills.
- Good communication skill is required because they have to communicate with other members.
- To need to work underneath pressure, so they require the potential to bear it.
- Ability to construct a working relationship with customers and with team members.
- Capability to understand the business requirement specification.
- Need to be updated by learning upcoming technologies with well organizational skills.
