Adobe Lightroom CC is an image organizer and image manipulation software developed by Adobe Company. The program can be operated on Windows, MAC, iOS, Android, and tvOS Operating Systems. It is used to edit a large number of images at once. The program is more focused on beginner editing than on complex editing with advanced features.
Adobe Lightroom is Non-destructive software in nature. This special feature of the program helps the user to play and edit the images unlimited times. The original images are left untouched, and the editing is done only on the backup files. Lightroom has a feature for storing backup files; the data is stored as XMP files.
Adobe Lightroom focuses on editing RAW images and helps the user control adjustments such as brightness and contrast, exposure, hue/saturation, and other properties on the Raw files themselves. Lightroom is a global program that works on editing the whole image, while Photoshop is a different software that works on the pixels and minimal details of the image.
Lightroom has many advanced presets installed that can perform many functions related to editing and manipulating images, but it cannot perform the complex editing that Photoshop can.
