Introduction to Google Docs Shortcuts
No one likes to do things hard, so they created shortcuts for their keyboard! We’ll check for shortcuts to shorten the time it takes to use everyday actions with Google Docs. This is not a full list of all of Google Docs’ keyboard shortcuts. We’ve attempted to maintain a list of more usual shortcuts. Keyboard Shortcuts for Google Docs
Let’s have a look at Google Docs shortcuts and shortcut keys. To access the menu on Mac, you must use these shortcut keys for google docs.
- If you want to open the menu file when you have to click on CTRL+ OPTION + F
- If you want to open the EDIT menu when you have to click on CTRL + OPTION + E
- If you want to open the View menu when you have to click on CTRL + OPTION + V
- If you want to open the Format menu when you have to click on CTRL + OPTION + O
- If you want to open the Insert menu when you have to click on CTRL + OPTION + I

Look at the shortcut key when working with tables on Google Docs.
- If you want to start the table, use this keyword: Hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift, press P, then S.
- If you want to go end of the table, use this keyword: Hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift and then press P and D.
- If you want to go start of the table column, then use this keyword which is Hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift and then press P, and then I
- If you want to go END of the table column, use this keyword: Hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift, and press P and then K.
- If you want to go to the previous table column, use this keyword: Hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift, and press P and V.

- If you want to go NEXT table, use this keyword: Hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift, then press N and T.
- If you want to go to the previous table, use this keyword: Hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Shift, and press P and T.
Other Navigation Tools of Google Doc
Now let’s look at other navigation tools of the Google doc.
- If you want to open document revision history, then you have to click on CTRL + ALT + Shift + H (this will use only Chrome OS and Windows), CMD + Option + SHIFT + H (this keyword is used for the Mac perpours)

Extra Window Shortcut Key on Google Doc
Let’s look at some extra window shortcut keys on Google Doc.
- If you want to copy, please use the shortcut key, CTRL C.
- If you want to CUT, please use the shortcut key, CTRL X.
- If you want to Paste, please use the shortcut key, CTRL V.
- If you want to paste something without formatting, please use the shortcut key, CTRL + shift + v.
- If you want to do the redo option, click CTRL + shift + Z.
- If you want to open the link and press ALT + ENTER.
- IF you want to bolt the text, then press CTRL + B.
