Prof – What is Machine?
Chatur – “A machine is any combination of bodies so connected that their relative motions are constrained, and by means of which force and motion may be transmitted and modified, as a screw and its nut, or a lever arranged to turn about a fulcrum or a pulley about its pivot, etc, especially, a construction more or less complex, consisting of a combination of moving parts or simple mechanical elements, as wheels, levers, cams, etc.”
Define MBA.
. . . . . . Are you Chatur? Just Kidding!
During your MBA, it is of utmost importance to not lose focus and concentrate on the 4 most important points –
1) Scoring an A++ in ALL subjects is NOT important
You must understand that the curriculum is like a deep ocean and really vast (commerce, law, accounting, quant 🙁 ), and scoring A++ in all subjects is NOT an option. Developing passion for a particular area of interest is of utmost importance. Identify one or two areas you like and become a “Rancho” on the same.
2) Reading Only course Books is the biggest mistake
Unfortunately, our MBA curriculum is so theoretical and outdated that the gap between theory and practical is huge. Do look forward to certifications in your area of interest so that you can practically connect with the Industry practitioners during your interview rounds.
3) Copy and Paste
We know you cannot write with both hands and may not have all the time in the universe to complete all projects. We all trust our basic instincts and look forward to the Google.com God to help us in virtually all our projects. It is your biggest mistake if you think you can easily copy and paste the project from Google. Many professors make use of plagiarism software. So as to be safe, you may use free plagiarism software like plagiarisma.net, etc. You can click here for a full list of plagiarism software available for free. Did we tell you to copy and paste? ( 🙂 )
4) Build your Resume
This is of utmost importance that you consciously build your resume. As a recruiter, we have access to certain recruitment portals, and trust us that the competition in the job market is really stiff. One should consciously work toward building credentials and doing certifications so as to stand out and be among the chosen ones!
